Kirill is like a firework going off. He’s capable of great violence and great affection. His sheer energy and enthusiasm make him, in spite of everything he does, sympathetic. — screenwriter Steven Knight

I know it’s in Italian, but I had to share it. It kind of surprised me when I saw the trailer at the theatre… Apparently it’s an adaptation from an autobiographic book by Nicolai Lilin.
I was disappointed by one of the lines in the trailer that says “Ogni crimine lascia una traccia (every crimes leave a mark)” sounds familiar doesn’t it? Well this just gave me a lot of Easter Promises feelings…
EDIT: tagging people who might share my interest in this.
so focus features rejected eastern promises 2 but they’re doing a 50 shades of grey film
Great job focus!!! Shows exactly what matters the most to you!
I really like Vincent’s fluffy parka. It must have been really cold and he had to play Kirill who doesn’t believe in buttoning his shirt up like a normal human oh babe no
Accidentally reblogged this in the wrong blog x.x
“Kirill who doesn’t believe in buttoning his shirt up” ahahahah YES xD Do you remember the guy who had to draw his tattoos by hand on his hairy chest because he kept unbuttoning his shirt??? xD
